Fred Folly

William Seward talked England and France out of supporting the South during the Civil War. this could have changed the course of the war and our entire country. Many said it was folly to think anyone could talk two countries out of allying with the South, but Seward did it. it was folly to think anyone could talk two countries out of allying with the South.
